Re: Cheap CNC Machines

I will probably make relatively small parts but I am not exactly sure
what size. Not any more than a cubic foot or even 6"x6"x6" but I am
afraid that after I get the machine I will come up with more larger
applications. Most of the parts that I make will probably be very
small. While I am thinking of this, how small of a part can a CNC
machine make? and how accurate are they to small parts?
I live in central Florida if that helps.
Can a scanner bed be used for making a CNC machine? If it can and it
is easy I may try that but I think it would be a lot easier to just
buy one, not to mention safer.

Thanks
BNH
