The other consideration is to avoid High Frequency starting as it will interfere with the computer.

This is one place where your dollars count.
if you want a few months of 8 hour days, get a cheap unit.
if you are doing professional work, like in a sheet metal shop where
the guys are getting $50.00 an hour and that machine is keeping 50
guys working, get a factory cutter with the factory CNC adaptable
nozzle and associated electronics.
Check out hypertherm.
