Limit Switches

Is there any "scoop" as to what type of limit switches I should
use/consider for my BP retrofit project? Other than momentary,
normally open, are there any special considerations? I saw a picture
of a setup once where there was a single switch in the middle of the
X table and the actuators were in the T slot of the table. To me,
this was a good setup because the actuators could be adjusted (hence,
limit positions) and only one switch has to be mounted. I haven't
been able to source that type of switch, anyone know? Any tricks for
the Y or Z?
