Limit Switches

I am having a problem with limit switches.
I have a gantry type wood router, X = 60"; Y = 60"; Z = 6" (work
area)
Software = MACH 2
The router, itself, works great.

4 Geckos
Axxus Board with relays.

The limit switches will work for 30-60 seconds the the machine will
reset.

A 470 ohm Resistor across the wires @ the AXXUS board (This helped).
I have 6 limit switches with a total of 48 feet of wire.


I replaced the regular wire with shielded cable. Grounding it only
at the control panel.. Maybe helped a little.

As test, I put a 1000' of phone wire in the system to replace the
limit switch circuit and as long as the wire is away from the
machine, the limit switch curcuit works fine.
