Hello, I just walked in and I'm lost

I just joined the group and I'm unfamiliar with yahoo interest groups.
Can someone give me a real brief outline of how this works? I don't
know how to go where to do what.

I don't have much experience with groups on computer, but I've got
background in teaching (and working with) CAD and I have worked in
tool design, CNC programming, and machining. Right now I'm trying to
work up a design for a small mill and I need information on how to
make up control circuits for servo motors.
