I have been using the stick fonts in AutoCad R14 for CNC engraving.
They must be converted to lines and arcs before saving to DXF.
These arcs a little rough, but cut quickly and are no problem to convert
to DXF for conversion to G-Code. Modifying after exploding is easy.
I have found that in later versions of AutoCad that the utility to
explode to lines and arcs is no longer available, as far as I can see.
The Cam programs I use will not accept any DXF except lines and arcs.
Has anybody using later ACad versions found the ability to explode
TTF and .shx fonts?
