I'm not following something here.

if all you are using is a brake, why do you need a transformer ?

there is only a magnetic field in the coil, like a relay.

a simple fuse at something above rated power and you are set.

The isolation transformer will eleminate electronical signals from
noisy circuits, but it does not seem that you would need one in this
application. Certanly not from a personal safety issue.

If you check the ratings of the brake, you may have quite a bit of
range as 110 is more than 20% larger than the 90V rating.
