Hi
I have a HUGE ( like 40 pounds ) transformer that came out of an old
Bandit CNC mill controller .
My problem is it has 4 pairs of outputs ~ 40V ~30V. ~ 20V. ~10V.
None have what I would consider heavy wires coming out of the transformer .
I need to drive 3 large Slow Sin steppers ( 3V. 6.1 A) with 201"s , if I
use the 40V. AC it will yield 57 Volts , Great , but is there any way to
find out how many amps it can put out .
What happens when I exceed that ( this thing is way too big to overheat
) will it burn out the wire ?
