Hi Ron,

If I am not mistaken you can get even more out of that transformer.

with the 40 and 10 ties together, you get 50 V out. or the 20 and
30. on my multi wire transformer, it ran in steps of 5% so it was
not just 5 volt per line. check to see if you don't get 9v and 19v
they would make the trans so you can use different lines to get
different voltages.

you may not want to as you are so close to the max for the steppers,
but it was just a thought.
