Re: Proxxon MF70 conversion and group deal

Well I am too late for this or perhaps too early, my Proxxon arrived
yesterday and it is very cute indeed. Nice and heavy for the size
and the spindle is suprisingly quiet even at 20k. I had a play
cutting some ali but after about an hour I had the hand wheels off
ready for the conversion.

This seems like a great way to have the ability to make small
aluminium or similar parts on a budget, and you can put it in a draw
when you are finished :) It seems very stiff which I suppose is
partly due to the small size. I am planing on making moulds for tiny
carbon fibre propellers.
