Hi, Gents,

For the amusement of many, to the likely consternation of some, and
perchance, for the edification of a few, I have uploaded a wee
spreadsheet to the Files area in the folder: "Don's MAD CAM project".
(The "macros" contained are as benign as anything MicroSoft).
I would welcome critical feedback on any aspect, since almost all
that I have learned about CNC has come from being told why something
won't work. Worst case is that I have learned Excel, somewhat.
I think the maths is kosher, but the Axial force figures look a bit
outrageous in lower-geared configurations.....
Any bits worth using in more mainstream applications are fully
stealable.
Depending on interest, I will add progress updates as soon as I
jigsaw the software and electronics together (still trying to figure
out what to use).

I DO like that line from the movie, "Babe" about "an idea that just
wouldn't go away".
