Before leaping in and learning Acad, what are you trying to achieve?
If your going to become a CAD specialist, then Acad or its clone is
probably the right package in which case go to school and get
certified.

I started with Acad 1.4, the basics are fairly easy but to produce
professional results needs a lot of work and if you want to do quasi
3D its a real pain. MO.

I recently bought the Rhino / VisualMill bundle on special offer and
found Rhino a much easier package to work with.

Would help if you told us your goals.
