Hello,
Keep in mind that air tools are naturally cooled by the expansion of
the air going through them...
The life and reliability of this setup (below described) might suffer
greatly due to this.
Hope this helps,
Ballendo
P.S. You'll not catch me anywhere near that "grubscrew" router chuck!
To compare it to the weldon mill type is only valid if you grind the
flat into the router bits, and do a precision job on that bore. EVEN
with this effort, you would be safe to remember that woodworking bits
of "trade" grade are likely all over the map in their shank diameter.
They CAN be, since the mfrs. know they're being used with collet
chucks, and keeping this spec loose lets them meet price consids...
Professional grade router bits should have better shank diameter
consistency (TRUE professional grade, not just those whose packaging
says so!)
