When the red mushroom button is pressed, I'd leave power ON for the control
and send a signal to it that the E-Stop was pressed. I'd disconnect power
from the spindle and also the X, Y, and Z motors directly (I'd not expect
that the controller be 'alive' to cut the power given a signal that the
E-Stop was pressed). Somewhere in the power circuit to the motors and
spindle, I'd have a latching relay that required that the computer reset.
This would reduce the possibility of having the machine start up at a time
you really didn't want it to.
