Hi Bob,
Nema23 works fine.
Nema34 whirrrs and clicks, but does not spin.
Slo-syn Model M091 NEMA34, 1.7V 4.2 A (6 wire)
Slo-Syn Model M091-FD-440, 1.7V, 4.7A (6 wire)
Pac-Sci Signamx. 2.98 4.2A (8 wire)
I have 2 of each of these.
My 2 NEMA23's work, my 6 NEM34's don't.
Each unit shows relitivly colose resistsance, but are less than 1 ohm
and my meter only does one decimal so I'm not sure if they are
exactly identical. the 6 wire units does show the high ohms at the
ends with about half from center to end(s)
I also have one Astro-Syn, same ratings, but had a bad bearing. I
replaced the bearing and the unit is still locked up, so I put it
aside.
I got these as pulled from equip. One had some sort of oil inside
and they all had a gasket to keep the oil out. is it possible that a
thin coating of oil on the coils might mess things up ?
