Jason, I have a Shoptask Eldorado also, with the Shooting Star DRO. I also
put in the Serial kit that will send the display contents to the computer. I
was hoping to do what you are talking about (see my Feb 8 posting.)

I think I have the hardware to do it, but I'm not a programmer. Right now
I'm waiting on bigger stepper motors, but when I get it back together I
would be glad to test programs on it. Perhaps we can find some sympathetic
programmers. The people at Shooting Star were kind enough to send me a
Pascal program to test it, but they disavowed any programming support. They
were nice to work with and they have a fine product.
