In addition, Corel Draw is an excellent program to do this with also. Using
a JPEG or BMP file as a template you can then trace over it with the Bezier
curve function and very quickly and easily generate single line engraving
paths and export them as DXF files (straight to Vector through the
clipboard). This is also very useful in creating single line engraving
fonts from True Type fonts. It is time consuming, but you have great
flexibility in achieving the exact effect that you might want. This is
obviously for artistic and not precision engraving.
