If Dan Mauchs's 3-axis units weren't listed as sold out I'd be
tempted, as I don't think I can do much better on my own cost/time
wise when allowance for 'learning experiences' of the smoked flavor
are made.

[I wonder what you (or any of the rest of you) think of the driver boards
at pcbpro? This guy claims his (beefiest) boards will control 3 steppers at
3A/phase. Has anybody tried them? The prices seem
reasonable:<www.geocities.com/pcbpro/MotorDrivers/index.htm> and they
apparently come assembled, though power supplies are extra. ]
