John, Raymond, Matt and everyone else MANY THANKS - if I stick to
metric units all is fine, so that IS the problem, well spotted.

I do now at least have a work around. Just glad I proved it before
spending ages drawing something complex.

Don't you just LOVE the internet and all the helpful people out there.
