Lathe steppers

I have a 11" * 24" Taiwanese screw cutting lathe with power cross
feed. Cross feed lead screw is 8 tpi and longitudinal feed is 5 tpi.
I wish to add stepper cnc feed to it without changing to ball screws
etc. What size steppers would the group recommend? It is hobby use
machine.
