Yes, I bought one and it works well for over $200. I then tried using
a proximity switch from quantum and it worked better for about $80.Of
course I was probing a metal object. The problem I had (still have)
was trying to take the point cloud and create a millable image. The
program Maxnc gives you with the probe gives you splines but I didn't
(don't) know enough to turn it into a surface.
