this particular scale, like all the scales JTS offered as far as I
know will work with DRO-2. And they are also definitely NOT made by
Mitutoyo. Digimatic is a misused term in their ads. And SPC is also
often misunderstood (statistical process control). It does not define
a particular style of connector.
So genuine Mitutoyo scales won't work with DRO-2, but the "DRO Quill
Kit" scales sold on ebay will. Please compare the pictures on the
auction with those in the beginning of the DRO-2 manual

and you will see a match.
