After the discussion about calculating steps the other day and having
done the same myself several times, I asked a friend to put together
a calculator for the purpose.
Here it is, in the present form. About 140k. Windows application.

I know that the mm/step is off, and the metric thread on the lead
screw is ?strange?. Those of you that like to play with rack and
pinion and belts, etc, please check out the calcs and see if we have
it right, or if it is helpful. Suggestions for improvement welcomed.
We will put up a web page eventually with some instructions, and
keeping it updated as or if bugs are found.
