Hello to all (again)
I found a bridgeport machine that is also without half it's cards, however the motors look like they could be 6 wire steppers and have the part number O25805 alternative to O26794 they look like they should connect to a Geko drive and a power supply (such as the mighty cnckits.com). Can anyone tell me if it is worth buying this machine for a possible upgrade to CNC as the whole thing is old but well made (except cnc controls that is). Can anyone help - I did look at some projects on the bridgeports but wasn't sure they changed motors or used the existing ones, I think it's a series 1.
