Hi all,
I am looking to put together a small Z axis for a trim router. I am
looking for a link or data on the best way to eleminate any play in
the ball screw. I have seen some posts regarding opposing angled
roller (Timken) bearings.
If you have any advise or links to the 'how to's' for this please let
me know.
I turned parts of a 1/2" dai ball screw on the lathe, man is that
stuff hard ! I figure that I can rough it out and then grind the
length and dia needed. I need bearing mounting ideas so I knwo how
long a section to turn.
