Sounds like your post-processor problem may be a serial communucations
problem instead. (Probably what the VM tech told you...)
You might try opening the VM post-processed file from inside BobCAD, and
sending it to your Bridgeport from there. Or, if you're really stuck,
backplot the path from BobCAD's NC editor into the drawing editor, then have
BobCAD re-do the toolpath. 'Cut 3D' ( if it is drilling points, draw points
(point/end) at the ends of the approriate z-moves.
The Bridgeport post in VM is a pretty plain post. You might find the
file extension setting in the Bridgeport post needs to be set to something
other that 'TXT', such as 'TAP', etc.
