Joe, I have learned quite a bit about programming from "CNC
Programming, Principles and Applications" by Mike Mattson. (Published
2002, Delmar) It is up to date and reasonably priced at $39.00. The
book can be purchased at http://www.betatechnical.com/ It was an
excellent choice for me, as it is written for someone who wants to
teach himself CNC programming. It is written in a friendly style and
has many examples.
