Not suitable. Foam cutting takes very little force and moves very
slowly. A lathe takes much more force and you usually want a reasonably
fast rapid. This package will not give you the force or speed you really
need. Look at a Xylotex or Gecko drive. There are others that will work,
but these are state of the art units that are quite popular with the
hobby market.
