Hi all,
finally got a couple disposable cameras, Thanks Mom, Walgreens did
the trick.
a couple notes.
You may get a singe AA alkaline battery in the bargan. I think that
is probably part of the recycling program, toxic waste and all that.
I got one camera with 2 AAA bateries.
A note here is that when you pull the thing apart, it WILL be hot.
period.
tossing a striped board in the bag with another stripped board
resulted in a spark and some funny smelling plastic smell. I wish
that happened first.
As I pulled apart a camera, I grabbed the board and ZAP got my hand
zapped.
Takeing care and holding the next one in two hands, the zap went thru
my arms.
a note here is that the dual battery units deffinatly pack a stronger
punch. I have a white burn mark on my thumb from the 3rd unit that
zapped me.
3 were 330uF-350uF 160V/120V,
one was marked 611
one marked 7(2) on one line 7K on the next
one marked 2(2) and 9E on the next line.
Each board has a mini boost transformer.
Seems like my parts gathering is comming to a close. Now I need to
design the pulse timing generator and switches for the bank of caps.
