I'm having a little difficulty understanding these two
recent posts:
Andrew Mawson stated:
. . . .
I suppose not surprisingly Gecko weren't in the
slightest interested as the unit was over a year old,
but I would have hoped for slightly more sympathetic
treatment seeing that it had NEVER worked. Wouldn't
even give me any discount on a replacement item mean
lot.

UK
The above was stated despite having received the
following post from Mariss' company:
"Dear Mr. Mawson,
The only thing we can offer you is to send it back. We
will look at it under a microscope, as well as put it
through its paces on our teststand. This way we will
be able to tell you what happened and why. If it is
our fault we will replace the drive.
Regards, Jan"
What I'd like to understand is: If Andrew had, in
fact, received the above post from Mariss' company,
how does a rational person make the statement that
Andrew made? Seems astounding to me. Worse, it makes
me really wonder if this unit "sat on the shelf for a
year" as was stated. Don't know or have any
relationship with either of these folks.
