Sorry if this is a dupe but it didn't appear to go the last time hit
send and I just read your original thread anyway. I do my CAD on a
Mac and generate my gcode in Win98(running on MacOS, where I must say
it does behave better:), and then run a ftp client on my FreeDOS box
to grab the files for machining.

If you have the packet driver for your network card check out wattcp,
it's freely available in binary or source form, with sites like
www.smashco.com/wattcp.asp explaining setup - no affiliation with the
site just did a google search on "wattcp binary". Works great with
FreeDOS and I have removed on more dependency on the evil MS empire!

Now if anyone could point me to a dxf to gcode utility for the Mac I'd
be set.
