Marty,
I do have a Dyna 2800. I think it has simiar controller.
when the controller show READY?, you push YES. Then
the machine should initialize the home position for X, Y, Z. If push NO,
then the machine will move on emergency move. You select an axis ( X, Y, or
Z), then you can move the axis that you selected.
If any axis wouldn't move, then you have a broken controller. I had this
problem before, and didn't use the original controller anymore. Happier with
PC based contoller.
