Dyna 2400 Mill

For those using Dyna 2400 mills...what level of firmware are you
using? The Rom checksum is printed on the lable on the back of the
controller, you can also do a rom check sum in diagnostic mode.

If anyone has a machine that came with 4859 firmware does your manual
have any information on the serial protocol?

After banging my head for a week trying to figure out why I can't
download with the new 4859 firmware level, I call Dyna and find out
that you have to use a specific verison of their software to talk to
this firmware version. They don't know how it's diffrent the guy
that wrote it is not there anymore!!!!!! The guy I've been talking
to there is trying to be very helpfull though. Evedently every other
firmware version uses the original protocol.

Anyone else using this firmware?
