I have read database about building the hobby CNC mill.
But I am confused now!!
I have the hardware and software as below now:
1.4-Axis Stepping/Pulse-type Servo Motor Control Card
http://www.advantech.com.tw/products/Model_Detail.asp?
model_id=1@30241&bu=
2.Solidwork 2003
3.Mastercam V9.1
4.4 22kg-cm stepper motor and 6A dirvers
http://www.csim.com.tw/~cscs/
5. Two power supply
6. A Sieg X3 small mill
http://www.siegind.com/mill/MILL-3.htm
Sould I buy the other hardwares or softwares??
Is the function of TurboCNC just same as the mothion control card??
Or I still need to buy the TurboCNC to translate the G-codes to
pulse current??
I am really new in building a hobby CNC, and do not have a lot of
ideas.
Usually, the setting you mentioned did not include the motion
control card, so I think that the function of the card was
substituted by TurboCNC. Is it right?? or I am mislead??
Thank for your kindly reply!!
