Hi....For what it is worth, I checked out the Shopbot a few years back, and at that time they could only get within about a 1/64" precision. I have been using a smaller but powerful cnc milling machine (Crafter and sons) for the last 7 years, it uses acme screws with anti-backlash nuts.... about .001" precision! I don't use it commerically, but it's been a very reliable machine, acme screws and all.... Russ
