Mill Video

Hi, starting a new thread.

Cant see the thing at all and am curious if mine will sound the same when
operating. If so I wouldnt be able to do any midnight engineering without

If its the sound of the motors braking that I'm hearing, would it be
possible to adjust gain and damp to soften the motor braking without
sacrificing accuracy?

I would have liked to post a longer or higher resolution one but these
files get really big really fast. I don't have 100meg of space on my
server. As for the motor noise, yes that is the Z motor. The x and y
are quiet. I could try turning the gain down, but its really not
necessary. Believe me the servos are probably the quietest things on
the machine. Once I turn on the spindle motor, and the mist coolant
system, you almost have to wear earplugs. Then there is the compressor
kicking in every 5 minutes or so. As for accuracy, adjusting gain wont
affect that.
