I bought the K109 two axis driver kit. I am assuming it runs on
step/dir based on the description of the K142 (the two are supposed to
be very similar) I will let everyone know how it goes together. I was
a little skeptical about the 14 amp claim myself and I am wondering what
needs to be heatsink-ed and how much? Just the switching FET's ? I
have zero board building experience so the probability of frying this
board is high I am afraid.
If I send out the circut diagram and component list would that be
worthwhile? Should I get permission from Oatley?

article on the Oatley boards you mentioned?
