I have the version 2.0 of the book and software. The book covers the
g code and m code in simple terms. I am not a machinist so I can't
comment on the usefulness in the real world. The software is rather
clunky but it did work. I used it to test code for my engraver and
also for the router table at the local junior college. I read that
the text is about 9th grade level.
