Assuming you have internet access, you can order many items you may need
from:
http://www.mcmaster.com
They're an old, -very- large 'industrial supplies' operation stocking
thousands and thousands of things at reasonable industrial-net prices,
unlike many hobbiest specialty stores out there with their inflated
pricing.
They have no minimum order (I've ordered as little as $1.50 worth of stuff
from them with no problems). They have lightning-fast shipping, too.
They're a resource unlike any other, in my opinion.
Their website is a marvel of organization, tho it's somewhat overwhelming
at first. Once one gets 'the hang of it' it's very helpful in selecting
what one is looking for and then ordering on-line, in my experience.
Best of luck in your project!!
