small treasures, relays and stuff

Hi all,

I happened past an alarm company, really small outfit, on trash night.

they were tossing a dozen or so old panels. I grabbed a bunch for
the enclosures, some had windows...

but then when I looked at the board, I realized that with a blowtorch
and some time, I could salvage a lot of parts. Probably could have
been done in an oven, but I am not sure if the flames would be worse
than heating the whole part. Probably could have just turned it
upside down over some aluminum foil until parts dropped ?

I just heated the solder till fluid, then tapped the board on ground
and all kinds of stuff fell out. One board had all the pins bent so
I didn't even bother with that one. :(

now,I have bunches of terminal connections and bunches of relays and
even a 10kuF/50V cap !

and a couple medium amp (5-10amp) transformers @ 24 volts.

Wonderful source for parts and all free.

I bet that some of the boards could have been used as-is for relays
and led's and stuff.
