if you are milling a circle for a bearing, there ain't no good way to
do it when backlash is involved. each transistion from + to - on
any axis will show the errors.
There is nothing neater than to put in 5 lines of code and get a hole
that is a press fit.
on the flip side, if you don't mind boring it, milling a rough cut to
within 10 thou is pretty darn cool in it's own.
software is a patch as the table itself can move, and the cutter can
move the table against the slop ! Slop being collective
innaccuracies.
