'Plastics' have some amazing properties. seems Teflon and Frelon and
other "-on's" are used for some higher quality stuff when roller
bearing are not good.

I had a friend who made a jig for woodworking, but the linear
bearings made too much noise on the shaft after the sawdust got
involved. he switched to Frelon and was very happy ever since.
