Not this boy!
All 4 of my current machines are variations on John K's design.
I like the Alu. channel for proofing some of my stranger ideas, and at
75 cents a foot, locally, it's a pretty damn low budget way to get
started.
Now granted, I do have access to a machine shop, which makes it a little
easier, but ther is almost nothing in my smaller machines that can not
be done on an 8" drillpress.
And I also used the Home Despot MDF trick, on #'s 3&4, with both of them
having a 14*7*4 (x,y,z) work area.
If it works, and is lowish cost, let 'em all laugh!
Just means we have more money left for the NEXT machine!!<VBG>
