Mark,
I built a one of a kind that I just dreamed up...the table is a solid
core door and the frame is wood 2x4 all glued together. McMaster Carr
supplied the hardware and Acme lead screws and nuts. Stepperworld
supplied the steppers and the driver. Travel X 48" Y 20" Z 1". A
dremel tool for the router using .050 carbide bits. I cut 1/8" balsa
and 1/8" luan plywood to make model airplane parts. It cuts luan at
15 inches/min and balsa at 24. I use Kcam v3.34b. Grand total
computer and software...<$1000..accuracy .005 to .007 best I can tell
on wood. Outstanding for model parts compared to sawing them out with
a scrollsaw or bandsaw!! I will be glad to email you pics and a list
of parts.
