You will get much better results if you get the optional Sherline 10,000
rpm pulley set. I feel it is a must have if you 1/8" and smaller bits in
a Sherline. The higher spindle speed will allow you to greatly increase
your feedrates with small bits and improve the surface finish.
The other part is generating the isolation paths to actually cut.
DeskCNC does a darn nice job in the CAM package part and you can then
run the toolpaths in any controller package.
