from what I understand, the upcoming Geckodrive g2002 will have the option
of +- analog outputs. Art is working on the software for the link between
Mach 1/2 to it.
(I need to find out where he gets his days from, mine are only 24 hours long
and far
too short....)

I also want to know this issue. Is it possible to drive common industrial
driver/motor like fanuc, siemens, or yaskawa using Turbo CNC/ Mach 1. From
the white paper of the drivers, I think it is possible to route the output
from the PC to the analog input ( 5V - forward pulse/reverse pulse) of the
drivers. This is usually mark as CN 2. May be we can replace the Manual
Pulse Generator (MPG) input with the pulses send from the PC?
any thought/ ideas/ suggestion?
