Some years ago when my eldest daughter was still keen to please Daddy
and had been doing origami at school, she made some very nice 'flat
bellows' by cunningly folding a sheet of oilproof gasket material
which fitted the dovetails of my (then) hand operated surface grinder
a treat. Sort of three sided box with returns into the dovetail.
Lasted very well up to the time I sold it. No way could I repeat what
she did but it worked fine !
