Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Re: Reality Check for CNC mill

I too am gearing up (quite literally in fact) a CNC mill, and I noticed the
comment about a 400mhz Pentium as being small for Mach1. Is that still true
even if you don't need to use the toolpath updates, which eat up lots of cpu
overhead? The reason I ask, is because my testing of Mach1 so far on my
233mhz laptop running 2000pro seems to work fine - except when I refresh
the toolpath during RUN, of course, which we are warned not to do in the
author's notes, whereby it RESETS. Am I unrealistic in thinking this
machine will be fast enough?
