My understanding, and this is a question better posted at the Master5
list, is that either Master5/Mach1(2) will either run or not on the
computer.

if you are running and not having problems you probably will be OK.
some computers just don't run without a lot of problems. IIRC, Art
did find that over about 600, no machines had problems and under 400,
a lot did.

probably some compatiability issues and timeing issues with the cards
and periferals.

I found that TurboCNC runs on different boxes in very different ways.

my Compac 486-100 does about 8k pulse rate and my Duron800 does about
14k while my Compac 133 does just over 20k. go figure. I think it
has more to do with the parallel port timing, but have not tried to
trace the problem any further.
