Read this web page on spindle runout (discussion of collets):

http://www.precisecut.com/tutorials/spindle_runout.htm

They sell a nice 1/8" collet, with 0.0003" tir:

http://www.precisecut.com/products/equipment/collets.asp?txtsearchParamTxt=collet&txtsearchParamCat=24&txtsearchParamType=ALL&iLevel=1&txtsearchParamMan=ALL&txtsearchParamVen=ALL&txtFromSearch=fromSearch&I1.x=11&I1.y=13

Or they sell a Porter 7310 trim router, rebuilt, with the above collet for
less than the price of a new one:

http://www.precisecut.com/products/equipment/pc_routers.asp?txtsearchParamTxt=Porter+Cable&txtsearchParamCat=6&txtsearchParamType=ALL&iLevel=1&txtsearchParamMan=ALL&txtsearchParamVen=ALL&txtFromSearch=fromSearch&I1.x=13&I1.y=12
